9. Du’a for Mercy and Guidance

Transliteration:

Rabbanaa aatinaa mil-la dunka rahamahtan, wa hai-yi’ lanaa min amrinaa rashada. (Surah Al-Kahf, 18:10)

Translation:

Lord, bestow upon us mercy from Youself and provide for us the right guidance in our affairs.

10. Du’a to Avert the Punishment of Hell

Transliteration:

Rabbanas rif ‘amnaa ‘azaaba jahan-nam, inna ‘azaabahaa kaana gharaaman (65): In-nahaa saa-at mustaqara wa muqaama (66).

Translation:

Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell; surely the chastisement thereof is a lasting evil (65); it is surely an evil abode and resting-place (66).

11. Du’a of the Wrongdoer

Transliteration:

Laa ilaaha il-laa anta subhanaka, inni kuntu minaz-zaalimin.

Translation:

There is no god except You, Glory be to You. I have indeed been a wrongdoer.
